Colors of Mourning

Photographic series situated between documentary observation, intimate portrait, and subtle staging. The project explores grief as a quiet, everyday presence. Through domestic interiors and restrained gestures, it reflects on opposing states: sorrow and hope, loss and gratitude, the cold of absence and the enduring warmth of love that does not end with death. Rather than depicting mourning directly, the images trace its atmosphere - in light, color, objects, and routine. The work speaks about love that survives loss, and about grief as a space where memory, care, and quiet resilience continue to exist.
