The Last Samurai

The project presents a portrait of Krzysztof Polak — a man who, despite suffering from a serious illness, has never given up his professional activity and passions. He has become a recognized art conservator, expert, and the only specialist in Poland authorized to issue opinions on Japanese collectible weapons. He is also involved in their restoration and collection. His home and workshop form an entire world — a space filed with the spirit of creativity and samurai discipline. In my project, I tried to capture the portrait of the master and the unique atmosphere of a place where art, passion, and strength of spirit exist as one.
